Sonic 7s is part of the Power Spins family of Microgaming’s slots featuring two gaming modes that are switched on/off by a user. From the first glance, Sonic 7s is a purely classic game (exclusive of having 5 reels and 9 paylines), since only classic pics like bars and sevens are visible. However, looking closely at the game screen, you would see a Power button at the bottom right corner, which is a quite untypical element for a fruit machine, as you know. All the other parts of the interface are common for a five-reeler provided by Microgaming. Wild and scatter symbols

There are two special-purpose symbols that act differently from regular symbols. These are a wild represented by the slot’s logo, and a scatter that looks like an atom inside a metal casing. The wild is the most profitable pic and is able to pay out $100,000 for getting five of them on a payline. This grand prize would be yours if you have placed the maximum $45 bet and activated Power Spins.

Unlike many other games, the scatter does not start any bonus event. It just pays scatter wins of up to $13,500 if two or more of them land in any place.

Power Spins
Power spins, as is briefly said above, is a gaming mode that activates by clicking the Power button. This special mode does not increase payouts generated by symbols with the only exception: it enables a five-wild combination that is unavailable in a base mode. Besides, the Power Spins mode adds power to the wild symbol. Every time the wild substitutes when the special mode is on, all wins are doubled. If more than one wild symbol is involved in the replacement, you get an additional multiplier of up to x8 in total, so you can win eight times as much as in the base game.
